Just run, run as fast as you can!
Running has long been one of the most common forms of exercise. Next to sit-ups and press-ups it is the easiest form of exercise, requiring next to no equipment. Just slip on your trainers and some clothes and set off!
I find treadmills such a bore, and all too often I have found myself plodding along one thinking “why am I here?” Even in the summer, when the days are long and warm, I still see people running on the treadmills. Do the not know there’s a world out there?!
Perhaps they feel safer in the gym environment, or maybe they don’t know the area too well, in either case it seems that this is an issue. Running outside should be promoted and encouraged. I myself just do laps of my local park until I am exhausted, however a lot of people do not have this luxury.

So my best advice for all you runners would be to step out of your house and pick a direction, even if you don’t know the way. Make your own route. Chop and change and perfect it. This goes for you who have to move on a regular basis too, it can’t hurt to try! I went to University this year and was training hard. When it came to running my friend told me he had already made a route of his own, and we were only a few weeks in! It was a simple loop from our flat, to the Main Street, and back again.
There it is. Simple.
